So i went to Dubai for christmas vacation and of course i wouldn’t let a mall pass without buying their nailpolish! good thing the sales ladies were pinoy! so i bought VIPERA nailpolish. they sell makeup too!
here’s a link on their site http://www.vipera-me.com/
I have never heard of vipera, since it’s not available in the philippines.
I wanted to buy the normal pigmented nailpolish.. but when i tried them out in the kiosk.. every single one of them were TOO sheer.. you need 4 coats or something to get the color in the bottle. :( don’t get me wrong… i tried almost 20 nail polishes! the colors on my fingers were already layers and my nail line is still seen.
so instead of disappointing myself choosing nailpolish that i won’t use… i turned to their glitter polishes.
So what I bought is part of their ROULETTE collection .. i think. since it has stickers saying roulette :)) they are mostly glitter in that collection. and i only bought 4.
they don’t name their nail polishes like most of the high end and local brands here.. they number them instead!
This is No. 34. it has matte black square and long bar glitters. has a clear base. Swatch has 2 coats! the clear base is super thick!
from afar, it looks like black nail polish! :)) but don’t be fooled! but honestly i didn’t try this over the kiosk. i thought this would have matte black hexagon glitters. :)) but wooo! i am still impressed!
This is No. 35. it has matte black square glitters and matte white hexagon glitters. with a clear base. The swatch has two coats! using it as top coat will be better with one coat so that the design will not be covered with the glitters. of the four top coats, this one was the easiest to apply! i really don’t know why, but more glitters were left on my nails :)
But just like the previous polish.. i didn’t try this at the kiosk.
i don’t try glitter polishes in kiosks/shops because they’re a pain to take off :)) but i do peak on the contents! just so happens that i didn’t with these polishes, because i can see through the bottle.. —but what i saw was different from the result! :)) but i’m still very happy!! i rarely see square glitters! :))
No. 36 has matte white square and hexagon glitters. with a clear base. the matte white hexagon glitters are great as “stars” in a galaxy themed nails. The swatch has three coats! applying the first coat was harder than the second. in applying the second coat, more glitters stayed on the nail.. and i did a third coat to get the squares!
Last is No. 40. this nail polish is the reason why i decided to look at the rest of the roulette collection! plus, the sales lady was convincing me to get it since it was her favorite :)) she calls it “candy crush” because of the technicolored flakes. it’s also suspended in a clear base.
the swatch already has 4 coats! and still it did not cover my whole nail! I wanted to cover my whole nail but the clear base was so thick. but the flakies dried smoothly on my nail because of the base. :) maybe i’ll just pick them up one by one next time! This is really great for an accent nail!
SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
You should! you rarely see square matte glitters in a glitter polish! i’ll try to use them in my nailart next time!
IS IT WORTH IT?
I think it’s ok? well it’s a bit pricey! but i think it’s worth it because it took me alot of time to think before buying this! i forgot how much it costs .. but when converted, it’s around 300-400 pesos. I have alot of nail art ideas seeing the contents of these nailpolishes.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!
I actually bought 5 bottles of nail goodies in vipera. 4 nail polishes and a bottle of cuticle oil!
it has white, yellow and purple little flowers! so cute! and the applicator brush is small… a little goes a long way!
Dubai was sunny but it was still really cold! i was drying out! well, my nails were.
before we went out for the tour the next day.. i tried this out with the fingers of my right hand. and nothing on the left.
i really did see the difference it made. my fingers looked healthy and maintained! and i didnt even use a lot of the product! too bad i didn’t get to take pictures of the test. but maybe next time! :)
SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
YES! specially if you’re finding a quick but long lasting hydration for your nails, you should!!!
IS IT WORTH IT?
it is!! this was around 200-300 pesos when converted, if i remember correctly. this was cheaper than the nailpolishes.

I bought this product with my own money
MOST TIME CONSUMING NAIL ART
I was in a hiatus for a long time. because I was doing my thesis. sorry about that. but FINALLY! it’s done! I’m graduating on march! wooo
there are a lot .. A LOT of things that had happened the past few months.
November when i started my NO-BUY (nailpolish) and it’s still on-going as of the moment… and it will continue until we move to our new house. huhu
December, My family went to dubai for Christmas Vacation.. i did buy nail polish there. (it’s only once we go to a different place! and who knows when i’ll come back!) so my no-buy was not effective in dubai :))
January (to early Feb), was crunch time for thesis! before i have my final defense, i need to go through my second endorsement! and because of thesis madness, I had no time to swatch and even paint my nails :(
and now here i am , making this post… of the MOST TIME CONSUMING NAIL ART …… i have ever made!
it took me an hour for each hand.
Here’s my left hand!
i rarely take a picture of my left hand because i can’t keep my camera steady! but if you’re asking if my left hand has the same nail art with my right.. my answer is. YES
but sometimes the pattern of the nailart is different from my right hand to my left… just like this one :)
here’s my right hand
I used striping tape for this nail art. I wish i could have been more patient with this to achieve straighter lines. but owell :))) maybe next time :))
